Udemy has just announced their big €9.99 sale. Ten days, starting today.
The price can be different for some courses and in some regions, but it is simply the lowest possible price; for example “Linear Algebra and Geometry 1” is €11.99, so this is the lowest possible price for this course in the EU; I cannot see the prices in $ here.
If you plan to purchase any of our courses between now and August 27th, please, use our referral links below. It will not make any difference to you, but it will make a big difference to us.
Thank you for your ongoing support for our work!

Dear Hania, my name is John Martin. I know you through Udemy and have the highest respect for you. Because I want you to get most of the money, I am asking you – If I pay the $39.99 on the Udemy website – how much of that actually gets to you? If you give me a Post Office Box number or some other address in Sweden, I am totally willing to send Swedish Krona in the mail. I have all your courses except Discrete Mathematics 3. I do not have a website. Sincerely, John
Dear John,
Thank you for your kind message. I really appreciate your willingness to support our work!
Sending money is probably not the best way: I believe that the Tax Office would go wild on us 😉
There are some things one can do to support our work, though:
1. writing great reviews for our courses
2. spreading the word (in person, via social media) so that we get more students
3. purchasing our courses using our codes (TPOT_AUG26, TPOT_SEP26, TPOT_OCT26, and so on); then we get 97% (!!!) of what the student pays (in contrast: if somebody buys directly from Udemy, we get just 37%; if somebody uses Personal Plan, we get $0.012 per watched minute, so nothing at all if the students don’t watch…)
4. A nuclear option (if somebody really wants to spend a lot of money): use the referral links from the post above in the “no sale” period, so full price; our referral links give us also 97% of what the student pays. Right now the referral links lead to the reduced price (about $9.99), so it is not a good moment for this particular option (but a really good moment for the students who want to purchase a lot of courses without getting totally ruined…)
5. If you already have all our courses and want to apply one of the methods above, you can create a student account for somebody you know (a friend, a family member, anybody) and do the stuff that you no longer can do via your own account.
These are the best ways of supporting our work, so if you like some of the methods above, apply them and we would be very happy and appreciative 🙂
Thank you again! 🙂
Kind regards,
Hania
